A risk assessment and evaluation (RA&E) is compulsory according to the Arbowet (Working Conditions Act). Even so, many organisations struggle with the question of how to draw up a satisfactory and practical RA&E.

About the training

During this two-day training, you will acquire a solid theoretical basis and will primarily get to work on a practical basis. You will work on the setting up of an RA&E that suits your organisation.

For example, you will ensure that you not only comply with legislation but also that risks are genuinely recognised and managed. 

Who this is training for?

This training is intended for health and safety officers and safety experts who specifically wish to start working on the setting up or improvement of an RA&E. 

Have you done a Prevention Officer course, Safety Expert course or QHSE-training? Then this course will provide you with more in-depth knowledge.

You will need some basic knowledge of occupational health and safety management and RA&E to follow this course.

About the training 

During this two-day training course, you will learn what the Arbowet (Working Conditions Act) requires of an RA&E and how you assess and prioritise the risks. You will also start setting up a plan of action and consolidating measures.  

Using practice-based assignments you will work directly on your own RA&E, so that you can continue when the training has finished. 

The combination of theory and practice plays a central role during this training. You will get to work on: 

• What the Arbowet says about the RA&E 
• What subjects belong in an RA&E 
• The implementation of a risk evaluation 
• The sharing of the RA&E within the organisation 
• The consolidation of measures taken 
• The drawing up and application of a plan of action 

By working on practical assignments, you will work on a RA&E that is compatible with your own work situation. 

Practice-based work on your RA&E 

The strong, practice-based approach is what distinguishes this course from others. During the course, you will: 

• Work on a solid basis for your own RA&E 
• Customise the content to the needs of the group
